"Formed just about a year ago, the band started between lattes when Coudray, co-vocalist Saumer Jackson and the group's principal songwriter, Katie (Kat) Naden, all worked in harmony at the Muddy Waters coffeehouse in Uptown. They headlined First Avenue's new band showcase in January and were courted by local indie outlet Afternoon Records this summer to release Broken Hearts. Pop is pop. It's hard to resist. And GDDWB is sort of a fun reminder of that."
