Now, Now Every Children are a lot tougher than one might expect. Yeah, three-fourths of them may be really, really short, and they all just so happen to be really, really cute, but they pack a punch. Let's face it, Now, Now Every Children are working harder than we ever did in their pursuit and long-time-coming movement from their small suburban home to, well, everyone else.
Cacie Dalager (vocals, guitar) and Brad Hale (drums) first started writing songs together when they were merely sophomores in high school - their first act of spontaneous musical vibage ignited to help wish a fond farewell to a high school friend who was about to graduate. From there, Dalager and Hale continued their sort-of-emo, sort-of-totally-not-emo stylings while recording demos in their bedrooms and basements, eventually creating a loyal following enviable by other freshly minted bands.
Creating cute, off-the-cuff, and often silly videos, they introduced themselves to their fans not just as musicians but also as peers. In the summer of 2007, Hale and Dalager added Britty Hale (synth) and Justin Schweim (bass) to the line up and started playing backyard grad parties and small local shows.
Since, their following has been growing leading up to the release of their first EP, and now they're ready to take their tender sound onto bigger stages, having already shared them with the likes of Beach House and Say Hi to Your Mom.
The "Not One, But Two" EP is the first limited pressing EP of two, which both preceed their first full-length due out in May on Afternoon Records.
