Hot news all over the place this week. Haley Bonar's Lure the Fox charted #6 on the CMJ Top 20 ADDs chart and #2 on CMJ AAA ADDs chart, and is now available at indie-retailers and Best Buys across the country. Be sure to come to her CD Release Party this Saturday at the Varsity Theater at 8 p.m.
One for the Team's Good Boys Don't Make Noise charted #153 on the CMJ Top 200 charts Tuesday and the new re-mastered version of Good Boys will be in stores Dec. 12.

Thanks to all of you who came out to the Plagiarists' CD Release party, it was tons of fun. Target Market was in Minneapolis on Saturday night and Chicago last night, and got along with the AR crew famously. For those of you who couldn't make it to Target Market's Minnesota debut, mark Dec. 9 on your calendars (it's their CD Release party at the Triple Rock).
If you happen to stop by a hip coffee shop or a cool record store, pick up a copy of Metro, the God Damn Doo Wop Band has a very nice (and very large) feature inside. In further Doo Wop news, their tour dates have been confirmed, check out the SHOWS page for details.
The new Ela record is almost done. Sir Jacy Macintosh of End Transmission fame just finished the artwork, which is completely stnnng. Stay tuned for its posting within the week. October 29, 2006 ![]() The Plagiarists' Minneapolis CD Release Party is this Friday (Nov. 3) at the Triple Rock. It'll be quite the party, so I hope to see you there. A few reviews came in this week for Haley Bonar and the God Damn Doo Wop Band, so check out the PRESS page to see how cool they are. St. Louis homies Target Market will be in town this weekend playing in Northfield at the Art House. So, if you're up for the drive, come see the guys show off some of their stuff from their upcoming record (they won't be back until Dec. 9).
Haley Bonar's Lure The Fox will be in stores and going to radio on Nov. 21, be sure to stop by your local record store (and now some Best Buys) and pick up her beautiful record. Also, the God Damn Doo Wop Band will be going to radio on Nov. 7 and One for the Team will be doing the same on Nov. 14. Feel free to bother your local college radio station and request all the AR bands floating around radio land.

I am excited to announce that Haley Bonar has signed to Afternoon Records. She is a very talented songwriter and artist, check out her website here. Her amazing album Lure the Fox will be re-released on AR in late November and she will then tour for the subsequent weeks. We will also be throwing a CD Release Party at the end of November at the Varsity Theater, so keep an eye out.

Ela's 2003 release Stapled To Air is now available on our Releases Store. It is a fantastic album that is worth picking up immediately - definitely give it a listen.
The God Damn Doo Wop Band was nominated for "Best New Band" for the 2006 MMA's, so if you're an MMA member, be sure to vote for the GDDWB.
The Battle Royale's CD Release party is fast approaching (Sept 24), so be sure to mark your calendars and if you haven't already, reserve you pre-order copy at our Store.
Lastly, we will be releasing our first 7" release in mid-October. Who it is will be a surprise for now, so stay tuned. xoxo, Ian

Thanks to everyone who came out to the God Damn Doo Wop Band CD Release party. It was a complete blast and I hope everyone is enjoying the shiny new record. The Star Tribune ran a feature on the Doo Wop the same week, check out our press page for a link.
Thanks also to those who came to the Squareshooters CD Release Party, and congrats to the Shoe Shiners for dressing up as bandits and shooting the whole band. Just as everyone has returned home from tour (Look Down, Superdanger, Squareshooters, One for the Team, the God Damn Doo Wop Band), the Plagiarists are heading out on tour tomorrow, so check out their dates to see if they are coming over. The hottest news lies in the Press page as all of our latest releases are getting great reviews as time goes by (Doo Wop in the Onion, One for the Team in the Village Voice and Time Out New York and there was also a nice feature on the label in Rift Magazine). We are also in the works of adding three bands to our ever growing family.

We would like to announce that we have signed The God Damn Doo Wop Band (who are will be on tour for the next two weeks, check out the shows page), and their debut full-length will be coming out on August 8 -- just like the Squareshooters. Both bands have release parties coming up, so mark your calendars.
Also, new tour dates are being posted and updated daily, so keep a watchful eye readily available.

First of all, many, many tour dates have been posted for almost everybody, check out our shows page.
Squareshooters and Battle Royale will both be finishing their albums this week. The Squareshooters have a CD Release Party planned for August 5 at the Triple Rock and the guys will also be performing on Drive 105FM on July 31. Aneuretical has cancelled their summer tour, but will be throwing a double-header CD Release Party at the Triple Rock on July 21. One for the Team's Good Boys Don't Make Noise was dubbed one of the Top Ten Best Albums of the Year So Far by the Star Tribune last week and has been reviewed by a slew of blogs, including Music for Robots ÃÂ check it out. The Plagiarists have a handful of upcoming shows and we are currently planning a Minneapolis CD Release Party slotted for Fall. Stay tuned for that. Congrats to ZibraZibra for winning the RadioK Battle of the Underage Underground at First-Avenue last week, more news about those crazy guys to come. Hey Everybody,
The Plagiarists we featured last Thursday in Star Tribune's South edition, check out our press page for the link. Thanks to everyone who came out to the One for the Team CD Release parties, they were a ton of fun. Check out the Press page for the Team also because we were just featured in the Star Tribune yesterday as one for the best local records of the year so far. Aneuretical's new album Million Dollar Man is finished and we will have it on tour with us in July, but it will not be released in stores until July 25. (CD release parties on July 21 at the Triple Rock yo). The Squareshooters and the Battle Royale are nearing the end of each of their respective recording processes. Both records sound great and we're excited to get them out. The Squareshooters disc will be released at a double-header CD release party event at the Triple Rock on August 4. And the Battle Royale will be release theirs later in August. We are slowly but surely updating our shows page with tour dates, so keep an eye on those. This Friday (June 24), Superdanger, the Battle Royale and Viceburgh will be playing a double-header at the Triple Rock with touring bands Malone (AA) and Russian Circles (ID). It should be a good night. And lastly, I will be judging RadioK's Battle of the Underage Underground tomorrow at First-Avenue. May 20, 2006 A lot has happened since our last news update.
Viceburgh's Intense Excitement came out and it is fantastic. Thank you to all of you who came to the release party at the Triple Rock, a DVD is in the making of the performance.
The Plagiarists came out with their first album, Veto! and that is in stores this week, so be sure to check it out. Thank you also to all who came to the release party at The Pause at St. Olaf College. The turn out was great and the support was wonderful. One for the Team's new album Good Boys Don't Make Noise will be in stores on June 6, and will be celebrated with two CD release shows at the Triple Rock (June 3 and 4), check out our shows page for details. They will be on Drive 105FM this Sunday night at 10 p.m., so tune in if you are able. Also, "Take Cover," the Team's first single, will be on Magnet Magazine's CD Sampler in the magazine's July/August issue. The Battle Royale is diligently working on their first album, which was original intended for release on June 24, but it has been pushed back to the end of the summer. We'll keep you posted. Aneuretical is also in the studio working on their seventh release, which will be released at their CD release parties on July 21 at the Triple Rock. Also, When You Were A Kid was recently given a great review in Punk Plant, we will post it once we can get our hands on a copy. The Squareshooters will be going into the studio on June 5, to begin work on their triumphantly epic full-length that will be coming out July 28. Ampersand, Matt Sandstedt of Aneuretical's side-project, will be coming out with an album in August. It's great. We will also be giving away a recording contract at the RadioK Battle of the Underage Underground at First-Avenue again this year, and I will also be a judge. Check out radiok.org for more details. January 22, 2006 Thanks to everyone who came out to Superdanger's CD release parties for Fight! Fight! Fight! It was tons of fun. For those of you who couldn't make it and couldn't pick up an early copy, their new disc is now available on our store for purchase. Otherwise, the hot new 11-tracker will be in stores on February 7th. Also on February 7th, the new record will be going to radio nation-wide through our new friends at Vitriol. Also, Superdanger will be performing on Drive 105 (105.7 FM) on February 12th at 10 p.m. Tune in!
