The Battle Royale CD Release Party is tomorrow night at the 7th St. Entry (5pm, All Ages, $7) with We All Have Hooks For Hands and Haunted House. Both the Star Tribune and Vita.mn ran features on the show. It will be a great event, so be sure not to miss it.
If you can't make it to the show, you can now order their new album at our store.
Mouthful of Bees made several of the Star Tribune's Year End Lists for 2007 today as well. They made the Critics Poll Best of 2007 list, were voted the #2 Best Song of 2007 with "The Now," the #9 Best Live Act of 2007, and the #9 Best Album of 2007; read the articles here.
Mouthful of Bees will be playing their first show since August on January 6 at the Triple Rock. Be sure to be there!

News for you!
We are happy to announce that A Night In the Box and Mouthful of Bees have been selected to play in the "Best New Bands of 2007" showcase at the First-Avenue Mainroom on Jan. 16th. It's going to be a great show, so mark your calendars.
Haley Bonar spent last weekend performing with Andrew Bird at the Guthrie and had a blast. Thanks to all of you who caught the shows.
Spiritual Mansions and Now, Now Every Children both picked up cool opening slots fast approaching. Spiritual Mansions are playing with the A-Sides and Division Day at the 7th St. Entry on Feb. 26 and Now, Now Every Children are opening for Beach House and Papercuts at the 7th St. Entry on March 25.
Lastly! Dec. 29th is the big Battle Royale CD Release Show at the 7th St. Entry. It's an all ages party and it will be awesome. You can pre-order your copy of the new album now at our Store.
Extra lastly! We will be posting our NEW website around Christmas, so stay tuned - it's pretty freaking awesome.

Updates and Future Excitement!
The Poison Control Center's new record entitled "A Collage of Impressions" comes out in just over a week.
The Battle Royale is putting the finishing touches on their new album and it will out in December.
Ela is packing up and heading west this coming Friday for their tour with Minus the Bear.
We're getting our test vinyl for the new Young Dudes' record this week (our first vinyl release ever! Yay!).
Chris from Mouthful of Bees is currently studying in Russia, so the band will be laying low until the end of the year.
Haley Bonar is finishing up some overdubs in the studio for her new album entitled, "May Day," due out in March of next year. xoxo, Ian

Furthermore, Ela will be on RadioK's "Off the Record" tomorrow at 3 p.m. and on KFAI's evening show at 8 p.m. Tune in for sure. In other news, the Star Tribune also covered the Best New Bands Showcase, which featured One for the Team, read that here.

Very cool news today. The Battle Royale's Sparkledust Fantasy debuted yesterday at #72 on the CMJ Top 200 (our highest debut ever). Along with those crazy kids, Haley Bonar charted #74 and One for the Team #188. Yesterday was also the first time we've ever had three AR bands on the CMJ charts at once, way cool.
Second, I am happy to announce the addition of We All Have Hooks For Hands to our ever-growing family. Hooks are from Sioux Falls, SD and are, well, totally awesome. I'll put up a page on them at some point today so that you may learn more about them.
